What can you possibly learn from a child?

(Staying curios, moment to moment joy and deep feeling, unconditional love, meaning of play, open value systems, etc., etc. etc.)

Why is it that whenever we see children our first instinct is to try and teach them something?  How to think, how to live, how to play, how to work, the lessons go on and on.

Once they are barely old enough to write, many children start attending school. Education becomes the central point of the young persons life. They are conditions to the rules and regulations of modern society and mentally conformed to our left-brain way of being, and a lot of the freedoms that the child was born with are trained out of them.

Now, i’m going to leave the moral discussion about our modern education out of this discussion, but the core idea here is something that’s rather interesting to observe.  Perhaps in this world, where all things are contained in their opposites, there is something that we can learn from children, just as we feel so strongly that they have something to learn from us.

Perhaps the wisdom we are searching for has been right in front of us this whole time.

Is the Heart an Intelligent Electromagnetic Field Generator?

Did you know that the human heart is the organ that generates the strongest electromagnetic field of any organ of the human body? In fact, the electromagnetic field of your heart can be measured up to a few feet away from your body. Furthermore, this energy field changes in relation to your emotions. One thing you should know about electromagnetic field is that every organ and cell in your body generate an energy field.

Since the heart generates the strongest electromagnetic field, the information stored in its electromagnetic field affects every organ and cell in your body. Could this be why the heart is the first organ to function in a fetus? Besides generating the strongest electromagnetic field, the heart has an intelligence of its own, which is why many neurocardiologists refer to it as the heart-brain or the fifth brain.

According to neurocardiologists, the heart isn’t made of only muscle cells but also neurons. Researchers at the Institute of HeartMath have done experiments proving that the heart’s role isn’t limited to just pumping blood. They believe it has its own intelligence and plays a major role in the perception of reality.

The intelligence of the heart

Some researchers and neurocardiologists are pushing the idea that the heart can actually act like another brain, helping to guide us with a different format of intelligence. Many physiological studies are currently being done regarding the interconnection of the heart and the brain, and why certain sensations and feelings are experienced at the level of the heart. Generally, love and certain emotional states are felt at the heart level, producing different physiological reactions of the heart. Heartbeats have been found to be affected by inner states and emotions, including disorder in heart rhythms when we are experiencing stress or negative emotion. Conversely, when we are feeling positively, the heart rhythms are more cohesive and beat more regularly and steadily.

The nervous system of the heart contains roughly 40,000 neurons or sensory neurites. One of its roles is to monitor the heart’s hormones, neurochemicals, heart rate, and pressure information. The information of how these chemicals behave is also sent to the brain. The heart and brain are always communicating through the vagus nerve system and the electromagnetic field of the body. It is through this dynamic communication process that the consciousness of the heart can change how the brain process information. This process can also affect how energy flows in the body.

(Further conclusive proof we are all deeply, deeply connected to our Planet and each other through our hearts. Of course the ancients knew this all along)

The Global Coherence Monitoring System

Dr Rauscher, an internationally renowned astrophysicist and nuclear scientist, has worked at such institutions as Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore Laboratory and consults regularly with NASA and the U.S. Navy. Starting in the early 1980’s, she and her late husband, Dr. William Van Bise, built a sensitive magnetic field detector to monitor the geomagnetic field and pulsations and resonances associated with ionospheric excitations….

For example, two or three weeks prior to earthquakes or volcanic eruptions, the earth’s magnetic field changes, suggesting that a multistation monitoring system could predict earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Not only did Drs. Rauscher and Van Bise predict the cataclysmic eruption of Mount St. Helens in Washington, in the year and a half following the eruption, they predicted 84 percent of the seismic activity occurring within a 100 square mile area around a single detector. This finding alone would justify the development of a global monitoring system, but there are even more important reasons for doing so.

The scientific community is just beginning to appreciate how the fields generated by living systems and the ionosphere interact with one another. For instance, the earth and the ionosphere generate a symphony of frequencies ranging from 0.01 hertz to 300 hertz, and some of the large resonances occurring in the earth’s fields are in the same frequency range as those of the human heart and brain. Although researchers have looked at some of the possible interactions between the earth’s fields and human, animal and plant activity, scientists have barely scratched the surface of what may be achieved with something as sophisticated as the Global Coherence Monitoring System.

It is now clear that our nervous systems detect these electromagnetic waves generated by others in our environment, but there is also evidence of a global effect when large numbers of people create similar outgoing waves. For example, research conducted by Roger Nelson and his team at Princeton University for the Global Consciousness Project utilized a worldwide network of random number generators. Their findings have provided convincing evidence that human consciousness and emotionality create or interact with a global field, which affect the randomness of these electronic devices. The largest change in the random number generators occurred during the terrorists attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Even more intriguing was the fact that the random number generators were significantly affected some four to five hours prior to the attack, suggesting a worldwide collective intuition about the impending event (see Figure 1).

Evidence of collective intuition

Evidence of Collective Intuition: RNG Data from GCP Sites Around the World per 9/11/01 Terrorist Attacks.

The Global Coherence Monitoring System will directly measure the planet’s magnetic field, which we postulate should be much more sensitive to the effects of emotion-based collective human interactions than can be detected with other types of detectors. For example, two National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) space weather satellites monitoring the earth’s geomagnetic field also displayed a significant spike at the time of the September 11th attack and for several days thereafter, indicating the stress wave possibly caused by mass human emotion created modulations in the geomagnetic field (see Figure 2).

Scientists Announce Development of High-Tech Hemp Battery

greenThis past week at the American Chemical Society’s national meeting in San Francisco, a team of scientists shared their plan for a cheap, clean and efficient super battery that will be largely composed of cannabis derivatives.

This was no fringe meeting, this is actually one of the world’s largest scientific organizations, and the event featured over 12,000 presentations on a variety of highly respected subjects.

At the meeting, engineering professor David Mitlin presented the findings of his study, which highlighted the potential for industrial hemp as a primary component in high powered batteries called super-capacitors.  Currently, graphene is used as the primary component for super-capacitors, but the study found that hemp can work just as good, if not better than graphene, and it is also cleaner, cheaper and easier to obtain.

“Our device’s electrochemical performance is on par with or better than graphene-based devices. The key advantage is that our electrodes are made from biowaste using a simple process, and therefore, are much cheaper than graphene,” Mitlin said in the ACS press release.

New dental technique repairs damaged teeth naturally, negates need for injections, drillings and fillings

Rather than drilling into an affected tooth and filling it with material to build up its structure again, a damaged tooth can instead be treated with the help of their new technology, Electrically Accelerated and Enhanced Remineralization (EAER), a technique that uses a small electric current to speed up a tooth’s natural remineralization process and, in turn, repair teeth without the need for drilling, injections and fillings. (1, 2)

Professor Nigel Pitts of King’s College London’s Dental Institute says it’s a healthy and affordable way to keep teeth in good shape, and one that’s long overdue.

The Insidious Conditioning Of An Uninformed Population

We, the collective, use no more than 14-15% of our brain, ever.  The rest is below consciousness or sub-conscious activity.  We “see” in the subconscious through images. We dream in 3D and 4D images not linear 2D words.

Advertising for decades have known that to subliminally program people they can access our subconscious minds with momentary or background imagery as well as phrase imagery (“Shock and Awe”, “Surge”, “Clear Skies Act, etc.)

We are conditionally and consistently being brainwashed without knowing it as this important video clip shows oh so well. So are our children because of the TV and internet.

James Risen of NY Times, Calls Obama ‘Greatest Enemy of Press Freedom in a Generation’

August 17th, 2014

Via: Guardian:

The New York Times reporter James Risen, who faces jail over his refusal to reveal a source and testify against a former CIA agent accused of leaking secrets, has called President Barack Obama “the greatest enemy of press freedom in a generation”.

Speaking to his colleague Maureen Dowd, Risen accused the president of aggressively pursuing journalists, including himself, who report sensitive stories that reflect poorly on the US government.

Risen faces jail over his reporting of a botched intelligence operation that ended up spilling nuclear secrets to Iran. The Justice Department has long been seeking to force him to testify and name the confidential source of the account, which is contained in his 2006 book State of War.

Risen recently failed in an attempt to have the supreme court review an order for him to testify, and acknowledges that he has exhausted all his legal options against the Justice Department’s pursuit of him under the controversial Espionage Act. In the face of incarceration that could come as early as this autumn, he is resorting instead to journalistic defiance.

Risen would be the first journalist to go to prison for failing to divulge sources since 2005, when the former New York Times reporter Judith Miller was jailed for contempt of court, after refusing to testify about a source before a federal grand jury.

National Guard called in as chaos continues in Missouri town

Missouri’s governor ordered the National Guard onto the streets of Ferguson early Monday after another night of violence following the shooting of an unarmed black teen by police in the St. Louis suburb. “Tonight, a day of hope, prayers, and peaceful protests was marred by the violent criminal acts of an organized and growing number of individuals, many from outside the community and state, whose actions are putting the residents and businesses of Ferguson at risk,” Gov. Jay Nixon said in a statement. “Given these deliberate, coordinated and intensifying violent attacks on lives and property in Ferguson, I am directing the highly capable men and women of the Missouri National Guard to assist … in restoring peace and order to this community.”

1000′s of Californians Prevent Israeli Ship from Docking in Oakland ‘BlockTheBoat’

An Israeli ship that was scheduled to dock at the port of Oakland in California on Saturday remained at sea as between 2,000 and 3,000 pro-Palestinian activists streamed towards the port entrance, chanting and waving flags.

Cell Phone Guide For US Protesters

Eva Galperin & Parker Higgins

With major protests in the news again, we decided it’s time to update our cell phone guide for protesters. A lot has changed since we last published this report in 2011, for better and for worse. On the one hand, we’ve learned more about the massive volume of law enforcement requests for cell phone—ranging from location information to actual content—and widespread use of dedicated cell phone surveillance technologies. On the other hand, strong Supreme Court opinions have eliminated any ambiguity about the unconstitutionality of warrantless searches of phones incident to arrest, and a growing national consensus says location data, too, is private.

Protesters want to be able to communicate, to document the protests, and to share photos and video with the world. So they’ll be carrying phones, and they’ll face a complex set of considerations about the privacy of the data those phones hold. We hope this guide can help answer some questions about how to best protect that data, and what rights protesters have in the face of police demands.

The Price To Buy Bankers Get Out Of Jail Card: $110 Billion And Rising

Six years after the greatest financial crisis in modern history, not a single prominent – and bailed out – banker (or frankly any for that matter) has gone to prison. Still, in the great squid pro non-jail quo, regulators and the DOJ have had to be appeased somehow. That “somehow”, as has been revealed over the past several years, is with quarter after quarter of massive legal charges, settlements, penalties and so on. Of course, since the banks wouldn’t exist in the first place if it wasn’t for a multi-trillion taxpayer bailout, they don’t mind because the math is quite simple: being converted into a government utility is better than being bankrupt anyday. Also, it is shareholder money, not an actual clawback (oh, the horror).

So what is the total amount of shareholder (and by implication, taxpayer) money that has been spent by the bankers to distract regulators and the “cops” from not jailing a single one of them? According to the following chart from the WSJ, just the six biggest offenders have spent over a whopping $110 billion to keep the government happy and the US prison population in check.

We will pay you not to grow so food prices can remain high!

The latest: Farmers in Europe will be paid to destroy or give away fruit and vegetables to stop prices from collapsing after Russia banned imports in retaliation for Western sanctions. EU officials said Monday they were setting aside 125 million euros ($167 million) to compensate producers for not selling a range of perishable items, harvesting them before they ripen or leaving them to rot.

We have established military bases in 164/182 countries worldwide. We are by far the #1 seller of arms and ammunition to the rest of the world.

And our military budget annually is nearly equal to the entire military budget of the rest of the world.

What Have We Accomplished in Iraq?

Freda Art

Ron Paul

We have been at war with Iraq for 24 years, starting with Operations Desert Shield and Storm in 1990. Shortly after Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait that year, the propaganda machine began agitating for a US attack on Iraq. We all remember the appearance before Congress of a young Kuwaiti woman claiming that the Iraqis were ripping Kuwaiti babies from incubators. The woman turned out to be the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US and the story was false, but it was enough to turn US opposition in favor of an attack.

This month, yet another US president – the fifth in a row – began bombing Iraq. He is also placing in US troops on the ground despite promising not to do so.

The second Iraq war in 2003 cost the US some two trillion dollars. According to estimates, more than one million deaths have occurred as a result of that war. Millions of tons of US bombs have fallen in Iraq almost steadily since 1991.

A 91-year-old Dutch man who was awarded a prestigious honour by the State of Israel for his family’s role in saving a Jewish child from the Holocaust has returned his prize after six of his relatives were killed in Gaza.

In 2011 the Israeli authorities declared Henk Zanoli ‘Righteous Among the Nations’ – a title bestowed upon non-Jews who helped save Jews from the Holocaust. During the Nazi occupation of Holland Mr Zanoli’s family had helped shelter a young boy until the Allied liberation in 1945.

But Mr Zanoli returned his prize to the Israeli embassy in the Netherlands after hearing that six of his relatives had been killed during an attack on their home in Gaza.

Gaza: Whole Villages Have Been Wiped Off the Map

Sunday 17th August 2014 at 09:52 By david-icke

‘I’m writing now from my home, but I still feel dizzy from shock and nauseated by the sights and smells on my visit to Khan Younis and Khuza’a.

Yesterday I decided to use the opportunity of the ceasefire to visit my family in Khan Younis. I especially wanted to see my sister who had open heart surgery before Israel’s assault. I hadn’t seen her for 36 days. I’m lucky that I have enough fuel in my car to drive 24 kilometers (15 miles) so I struck out towards the south.

I drove down Salaheddin Road and passed rubble from mosques, houses, and factories. Some buildings were destroyed completely and some partially. Later on in my drive, I saw dozens of big trees uprooted and smashed, fruit trees destroyed and farms and gardens decimated and ruined. The Israeli bombs were aimed to destroy the infrastructure, to destroy Gaza’s economy. Even the main cookie factory was targeted and destroyed.’

George Orwell Quotes that Predicted Life in 2014 America

toldyousoGeorge Orwell ranks among the most profound social critics of the modern era. Some of his quotations, more than a half a century old, show the depth of understanding an enlightened mind can have about the future.

1)  “In our age there is no such thing as ‘keeping out of politics.’ All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.”

Though many in the modern age have the will to bury their head in the sand when it comes to political matters, nobody can only concern themselves with the proverbial pebble in their shoe. If one is successful in avoiding politics, at some point the effects of the political decisions they abstained from participating in will reach their front door. More often than not, by that time the person has already lost whatever whisper of a voice the government has allowed them.

2)  “All the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting.”

Examining the nightly news in the run up to almost any military intervention will find scores of talking heads crying for blood to flow in the streets of some city the name of which they just learned to pronounce. Once the bullets start flying, those that clamored for war will still be safely on set bringing you up-to-the-minute coverage of the carnage while their stock in Raytheon climbs.

3)  “War against a foreign country only happens when the moneyed classes think they are going to profit from it.”

It’s pretty self-explanatory and while it may be hard to swallow, it’s certainly true. All it takes is a quick look at who benefited from the recent wars waged by the United States to see Orwell’s quip take life.

Once again, the government is experimenting on the public with new surveillance technology and not bothering to inform them until forced to do so. Boston’s police department apparently performed a dry run of its facial recognition software on attendees of a local music festival.

Pine Gap communications facility’s operations “ethically unacceptable”

A senior strategic analyst has called for the Federal Government to rethink the Pine Gap communications facility, saying some of its work now is “ethically unacceptable”.

Australian National University Professor Des Ball previously supported the joint Australia-US communications facility near Alice Springs, but changes to its role since the Al Qaeda attacks in 2001 have changed his mind.

“I’ve reached the point now where I can no longer stand up and provide the verbal, conceptual justification for the facility that I was able to do in the past,” he said.

Pine Gap is the jewel in the crown of Australia-US intelligence sharing, detecting nuclear weapons and intercepting communications around the globe.

But for the past decade it has also been involved in the US drone program, which has killed thousands of militants and some civilians in countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and Iraq.

“We’re now locked into this global network where intelligence and operations have become essentially fused,” Professor Ball told 7.30.

“And Pine Gap is a key node in that network – that war machine, if you want to use that term – which is doing things which are very, very difficult I think, as an Australian, to justify.”

The Greatest Contradiction of Common Sense

This essay is about a shocking contradiction in our common sense about the nature of reality; a contradiction that you are probably totally unaware of. Becoming aware of this contradiction has the potential to change your life.

Our common sense says that the colors we see, the sounds we hear, the smells we feel, the textures we sense, are all the actual reality. We take it for granted that they are all really out there, concretely. Our common sense also seems to suggest that death is the end of our consciousness. Even if we don’t acknowledge this intellectually or spiritually, most of us fear the end of consciousness with enough sincerity to betray our belief in its possibility.
Now, the point of this essay is extraordinarily simple: these two common-sense beliefs are mutually exclusive. They cannot be both true. Either everything you sense around you right now, including the computer in front of you, is a kind of “hallucination” inside your head, or your consciousness doesn’t end upon what we call physical death. And by the time we come to the end of this essay, I believe you  will agree with me.

Here is a narrated, video version of this essay:

Let’s start with the postulate that bodily dissolution — death — indeed implies the end of consciousness. Such a notion is entirely based on the idea that your body, particularly your brain, generates all your experiences. After all, what other reason could we have to believe that consciousness ends if the brain stops working? But if the notion is true, then all of your subjective experiences and their qualities — colors, sounds, flavors, textures, warmth, etc. — are merely representations created within your head. The “real world out there” has none of the qualities of experience: no colors, no melody, no flavors, no warmth. Supposedly, it is a purely abstract realm of quantities akin to mathematical equations. It cannot even be visualized, for visualization always entails qualities of experience. In essence, if this is true, your entire life unfolds inside your skull. Your actual skull is somewhere beyond the room where you are sitting, enveloping it from all sides. After all, the room you are experiencing right now is supposedly within your head.

But what if all this is baloney? What if the colors, sounds, and smells you are experiencing right now are the real reality — the actual world — not “hallucinated” representations within your skull? Then the necessary implication is that all of reality is in consciousness, for reality is then “made of” the qualities of subjective experience. But if that is so, it is your body that is in consciousness, not consciousness in your body. After all, your body is in reality, not reality in your body. And then, in turn, the dissolution of your body cannot imply the end of consciousness; not any more than the death of your dreamed-up avatar in a nightly dream can imply your physical death. After all, it is the avatar that is in your dreaming consciousness, not your consciousness in the avatar. Do you see the point?
