Aries: The Beginning of a Creative Process
As the door to the New Year opens, Aries brings in the theme of creativity and direction,
“Aries is the sign of beginnings–the beginning of the creative process, the first step of the soul … towards incarnation, the beginning of recurring and constant cycles of experience, the beginning of the period wherein the soul changes its direction, its purpose and its method, and finally enters upon that definitely defined process which we call spiritual regeneration and initiation.”
Spiritual regeneration. After the purging process in the previous zodiac sign of Pluto-ruled Pisces, our revitalised essence is ready to embrace the new cycle, transformed and a little wiser than the previous year.
Aries is the initial spark of mind, the fiery manas that holds within it infinite creativity, like the continuous nuclear reactions that take place in the Sun; it is for this reason that the Sun is “exalted” in Aries,… [The Sun] standing for the life of the spirit which comes to full expression as the result of the great evolutionary process, initiated in Aries. The life of God which in this sign is “swung into activity” eventually achieves consummation.”
In other words, Aries stands for the highest potential of a liberated human being, invoked anew each year when the Sun moves into this sign. Or on a daily basis, to use a solar analogy, at the rising of the Sun – the new day, a new possibility, a fresh canvas to colour.
The soul enters into a collaboration with the divine and becomes a co-worker in the Plan, a builder of the dawn. Taking the seeds from the harvest of the previous annual cycle, Aries sets about sowing a new generation better than the last. These seeds may well bear fruit by the time the Sun reaches Libra, Aries’ polar opposite, where the consequences of initiated activity begin to precipitate and make themselves apparent.
This highest human potential is symbolised at Easter, where Christ’s disciple Jesus made the final crucifixion of the lower self, became an Arhat – a more ‘permanent’ member of that renown “Band of Brothers” who guide humanity, The Great White Brotherhood. (See the Master’s Gallery here .)
When one aspires, one idealises to reach a higher understanding; it can be intoxicating because of the higher forces that are invoked in reaching upward. The solar plexus centre becomes a momentary doorway to a more refined consciousness that is heard in the heart. Yet many aspirants fail to materialise that which they have contacted, so the ideal stays an ideal, a fantasy, a pipe-dream; the initial idea and the idealism with which it was clothed remain unrealised.
The failure to bring the idea into a physical, practical, working reality is because certain sacrifices within the personality are required. These sacrifices cannot be made because in many there is an intransigence, unwillingness, selfishness or laziness to respond to the prompting of the soul’s conscience. Yet another influencing factor is that the sacrifice petals of the heart centre are not yet sufficiently stimulated. It is worth bearing in mind that,
“The trouble has not lain in lack of idealism or even in a lack of intelligence and sincerity, it consists in the failure to sacrifice the personality at all times in order to make the intuitive realization demonstrate its realities.”
Have you ever experienced that you know you are dreaming although you sleep? This is a hybrid state between sleeping and being awake. It is called lucid dreaming and it can be a somewhat awkward experience.
During lucid dreaming you can take sometimes control of your dreams and perform various actions.
Scientists have long wondered what is happening inside the brain of a lucid dreamer. What role does consciousness play?
What was know from a scientific point of view, was the fact that lucid dreamers are people who can become aware of dreaming during sleep, but the process that caused this state was unknown.
The term lucid dreaming was coined by the Dutch psychiatrist and writer Frederik (Willem) van Eeden (1860-1932) in his 1913 article “A Study of Dreams”. At the time, his paper was not embraced by the scientific community. The situation has changed much since then, In modern days, lucid dreaming has been researched scientifically, and its existence is well established
It’s easy to distance ourselves from the realities confronting us. Some call it “human nature” but even that concept is clearly manipulated. The gap between recognition and action has been deliberately distended into a vast, complicated maze in the mass mind to such an extent it’s embarrassing to behold.
Result: We don’t react. We calculate.
That’s the state of our species. “Compassion must be tempered with reason” or some such nonsense, to keep us from responding to someone in need. It’s a buffer zone between you and finding out who you, and all of us, really are!
Where Do We Stand?
We stand where we are. Where are you? Where am I? We have to deal with reality here and now or we’ll never get anywhere. The current state of your life, or mine, is fact. It’s where we currently stand. However our heads are turning and thoughts and hearts may be yearning, we’re all here, right where we are. Right Now.
The question I’m asking is, once you know your true ground and have found out things are not quite right, have you stepped out to enact what you know to be true? Have you made the changes you know you should?
Have we moved from the complacent observer to an actual agent for change? That’s the fundamental question Universe is asking us right now. And always has, if we’re honest. Whether we live to simply respond to the manufactured societal construct, or live for the rebellion against it in a love for Truth, our lives tell the tale.
Marijuana is a big deal here in Colorado. People love it. And one little girl, named Charlotte, considers it a lifesaver. She has pediatric epilepsy which caused 400 seizures A WEEK. (Don’t worry, it’s a special hybrid plant without the stoner properties.) Listen to Josh Stanley explain the amazing science that has essentially cured her. And bring your Kleenex.
Three hundred thousand juvenile chinook with tiny coded chips lodged in their heads were released in Rio Vista and under the Golden Gate Bridge over the past two days in an experiment to determine optimal conditions for hatchery-raised salmon to survive and imprint on their native rivers.
The 6-month-old, pinkie-size fish from the Feather River hatchery near Oroville (Butte County) were separated into three groups of 100,000 and subjected to widely varying conditions before the release to see which method best helped the fish survive in the wild.

( Sept. 2009) Shares of VeriChip Corp tripled after the company said it had been granted an exclusive license to two patents, which will help it to develop implantable virus detection systems in humans.
The patents, held by VeriChip partner Receptors LLC, relate to biosensors that can detect the H1N1 and other viruses, and biological threats such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, VeriChip said in a statement. The technology will combine with VeriChip’s implantable radio frequency identification devices to develop virus triage detection systems.
The triage system will provide multiple levels of identification — the first will identify the agent as virus or non-virus, the second level will classify the virus and alert the user to the presence of pandemic threat viruses and the third level will identify the precise pathogen, VeriChip said in a white paper published May 7, 2009.
Shares of VeriChip were up 186 percent at $3.28 Monday late afternoon trade on Nasdaq. They had touched a year high of $3.43 earlier in the session.
Get the measles vaccine, and you won’t get the measles—or give it to anyone else. Right? Well, not always. A person fully vaccinated against measles has contracted the disease and passed it on to others. The startling case study contradicts received wisdom about the vaccine and suggests that a recent swell of measles outbreaks in developed nations could mean more illnesses even among the vaccinated.
When it comes to the measles vaccine, two shots are better than one. Most people in the United States are initially vaccinated against the virus shortly after their first birthday and return for a booster shot as a toddler. Less than 1% of people who get both shots will contract the potentially lethal skin and respiratory infection. And even if a fully vaccinated person does become infected—a rare situation known as “vaccine failure”—they weren’t thought to be contagious.
After Sebelius, Vince Foster’s trash lady to Head U.S. Health Dept.; Nominee also veteran of Bill Gates’ abortion push, Common Core and Decade of Vaccinations Agendas
President Obama’s nominee for secretary of Health and Human Services is a former Bill Clinton deputy chief of staff who was once in the news for picking through Vince Foster’s classified office trash bin.
Investigations by the U.S. Park Police, the Department of Justice, the FBI, Congress, Independent Counsel Robert B. Fiske and Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr concluded Foster’s death was a suicide. However, as WND reported in 2003, one of Starr’s key investigators challenged the official line, insisting the probe’s result was predetermined, only a few plotters were required to engineer the result, the crime scene was altered and that major newspaper editors killed stories by reporters pursuing the truth.
Yesterday, Obama introduced Sylvia Mathews Burwell, director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, as his nominee to replace Kathleen Sebelius as HHS secretary. Burwell was founding president of the Global Development Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She also served as president of the Walmart Foundation, where she led the company’s Global Women’s Economic Empowerment Initiative, which focused on economic opportunity efforts in Africa. She graduated from Harvard and Oxford Universities and was a Rhodes Scholar.
Overlooked in the news media profiles of Burwell was her role in the Foster affair, particularly her possibly instrumental in disposing of the contents of Foster’s classified office trash can. In 1993, Burwell, who then went only by her unmarried last name of Mathews, was an assistant to Clinton’s domestic policy adviser. The night of Foster’s suicide, Burwell reportedly “inventoried Foster’s trash,” claiming in testimony two years later that she was, according to a Los Angeles Times description, “looking, in vain, for some clue to why he killed himself.”
Twenty-six years have passed since Prozac, the antidepressant drug, was introduced to the US market and quickly achieved the label of a “wonder drug.” In the decade that followed, other antidepressant drugs including paroxetine
(Paxil), sertraline (Zoloft), fluvoxamine (Luvox), and citalopram (Celexa) would be released, creating an entire class of medications known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Since hitting the shelves, the popularity of SSRIs has skyrocketed. Today, 1 in every 10 Americans reaches for antidepressants daily. This ratio jumps to an incredible 25% among women between the ages of 40 and 59. Approximately 5% of children ages 12 to 19 are also taking antidepressants. Worldwide, mental illness is now the leading cause of disability among children.
Active members and veterans of the US military have become especially dependent on psychiatric meds. Today, about 1 in 6 service members is using antidepressants, sedatives, and other psychiatric drugs in an attempt to cope with post traumatic stress disorder and other afflictions. From 2001-2009 alone, psychiatric drug use in this demographic rose by 76% and in 2010 alone, the Pentagon spent more than $280 million on psychiatric drugs.
The recent Italian Bishops Conference has adopted a new Vatican-backed policy which states that the clerics are not obliged to inform the police if they suspect a child has been molested by a member of the Catholic Church.According to the UN, tens of thousands of children across the world have been sexually abused by predatory clerics as a result of moving, rather than reporting, pedophiles.
According to a new report in the Washington Post, the federal government is seizing nearly $2 billion from hundreds of thousands of taxpayers this year in order to settle debts, some incurred by their parents, some dating back to more than a decade.
This process has been ongoing since 2011, when a revision in the farm bill passed by Congress removed the 10-tear statute of limitations on debts owed to the United States. Since that bill was passed, the government has collected $424 million on debts older than a decade. This year, however, has seen the Social Security Administration (SSA) alone claim that 400,000 Americans owe a total of $714 million in debts older than 10 years.
Multiple government agencies told the Post they were not responsible for pushing for the change, with Social Security spokeswoman Dorothy Clark saying,“We have an obligation to current and future Social Security beneficiaries to attempt to recoup money that people received when it was not due.”
Another JPMorgan employee has died an unnatural death. This is unnatural death number 5 at JPMorganChase, since the first of the year, and unnatural death number 13 in the financial industry. ‘In a 2011 report, Morgan Stanley analysts proclaimed that America was experiencing a transition from an ownership society to a “ rentership society.” “The combination of falling home prices, limited mortgage credit, continued liquidations and better rental options is fundamentally changing the way Americans live,” says the report, concluding, “We believe this change is only beginning.”
For Wall Street firms, the Morgan Stanley report appears to have become a self-fulfilling prophecy: Seeing a profitable opening in the wake of the foreclosure crisis, investment groups have worked diligently to bring a “rentership society” into being. During the past two years, investors have bought approximately 200,000 single-family homes, mostly foreclosures, in urban areas nationwide, with plans to convert them into rental properties. In Atlanta, one such investment group purchased 1,400 homes on a single day in April of last year.’
Rage and Revolution
Aries is the yearly revolution and Aries’ highest or hierarchical ruler is Uranus – the planet of revolution – in Aries for the first time in 84 years, promising radical change. Currently it is at the same position it occupied in 1930, the time of the Great Depression, the discovery of Pluto and the build-up of fascism in Europe.
In the 1930’s Uranus was square to Pluto, just as now Pluto and Uranus are repeating this pattern for another two years. And of course, as discussed in the past few newsletters, these planets occupy two arms of the 2014 Grand Cross, present during this Aries full moon period, reaching exactitude and hence full power about a week later, April 22-24.
Mars as ruler of Aries is the rage of the common man oppressed by forces from which he is struggling to free himself. And Mars is part of this grand cross configuration, but its force is well-tempered by its position in Libra, offering struggle and devotion to the peace process, detente and dis-armament.
Hence, the world will witness ongoing struggles in the Middle East, Ukraine and elsewhere, as the consciousness of humanity becomes further empowered and rises up against oppression in its many forms. In these often more difficult times of trying to figure out what is going on behind the outer facade of lies and misrepresentations, its timely to also invoke the energies of Aries, esoteric ruler Mercury, transmitter of the true intuition, that can bypass all the muddled propaganda.
Mars and Aries are about meeting these critical problems with courage and forthrightness – a willingness to make a stand and fight like a true warrior. Running battles upon the mental plane in the war of ideas, ideologies that threaten to engulf and control the planet.
Mars pushes the seed shoot buried in the dark earth to penetrate the surface and emerge into the light. Martial idealism and physicality are always needed to bring an idea into manifestation, into the light of a new day. Likewise humanity penetrates into a higher reality from the world of the unreal, this is sex for the soul – where there the human mind meets the divine mind. We are told that,
“The power of ideas is only today beginning to be understood. The potency of ideation, the forms which ideas must take, and the promotion of the cult of right ideas is one of the major problems to be tackled in the New Age. It is in this field that the Masters work and in which They call Their disciples to be active.”
The “New Age” is Aquarius, the sign of leading edge ideas, ruled by Uranus, also the hierarchical ruler of Aries, representing the fount of ideas. Note also, that Uranus rules the sacral centre where those ideas manifest – a curious relationship. It is through the various planetary rulerships that hidden relationships emerge between the zodiac signs.
With these new ideas, old ideas will change, for instance history, with its account of the evolution of nations in the outer world of appearances. DK tells us that, “… there is a history which today is slowly being formulated which is the history of the seed of consciousness in nature and the growth of the power to recognise ideas and to push forward towards their fulfillment. This is the new history which–as might be expected–is carrying us steadily into the world of meaning and revealing to us gradually the nature of those impulses and tendencies which have led the race steadily forward from the densest point of concrete, primitive life into the world of sensitive perception.
The latest figures from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) reveals that 62 percent of Americans earn $20 or less per hour. And this only examines those that actually have a job. Most of the new jobs added since the Great Recession ended have come in the low-wage segment of our economy
which seems to be adding the bulk of employment. These are certainly interesting times that we live in. The US has close to 130 million jobs. 18 million jobs pay less than $10 an hour and 63 million pay between $10 and $20. These two segments makeup 81 million jobs so it is understandable why the two income household is more of a necessity rather than a luxury. The median household income in the US is roughly $50,000 per year. Adjusting for inflation income is back to levels last seen in the 1980s. Americans feel poorer because their purchasing power has been eroded by inflation
and also the swarm of lower paying jobs that now dominate the market. The US middle class is shrinking and to ignore this is to ignore the actual facts.

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. and Eli Lilly & Co. have been ordered to pay $9 billion total in punitive damages after a US jury found the two companies did not adequately inform people of the cancer risks connected to their Actos diabetes drug.
Succession R US????
What you may not have caught under all the pomp and bluster of these first shots in the so-called “New Cold War” is that a very similar scene was taking place in southern Europe at nearly the same time. In a week-long unofficial referendum beginning March 15, citizens of Veneto-the region of Italy encompassing such cities as Padova, Vicenza and, most famously, Venice-voted on whether or not to secede from Italy. In a region of 3.8 million voters, organizers say nearly 2.36 million cast a vote, with a whopping 2.1 million
voting for independence. The results of the very non-scientific poll are hotly contested, with critics alleging that some of the votes were being cast from overseas and others being counted twice, but Rome is taking it seriously enough: Earlier this week they arrested 24 independence activists, claiming that they were engaged in “terrorism” and even “fabricating weapons of war.” What weapons? Apparently Italian authorities seized a tractor that they claimed the activists had tried to convert into a tank.
As cartoonish as the would be “Repubblica Veneta” appears at this point, it’s part of a wider trend that’s spreading across the globe: a trend toward secession. The Venetian activists were inspired by a similar movement in Scotland, where independence advocates are looking forward to their own referendum this September on whether or not Scotland should become an independent country, either as a republic or as an independent Commonwealth realm under the crown a la Canada or Australia. In the Catalonian region of Spain and France, meanwhile, a strong contingent of citizens support the formation of an independent Catalan nation
. Across the pond in Canada, the idea of Quebec’s separation is once again rearing its head in the provincial election cycle. Likewise around the world, separatist movements in Algeria, China, Indonesia, Libya, Uzbekistan, and literally dozens of other countries continue to agitate for secession from their respective governments. Even the countries where one would least expect to find such sentiment harbor their own separatists, however marginalized: the Ainuin Japan; the Basque, Bretons, Corsicans, Normans, and othersin France; the Zapatistas in Mexico. Whatever else may be said about the human condition, it seems the dream of sovereignty cuts across race, culture and social context.
